Bruno Fernandes, a Manchester United midfielder, has criticised his teammates for making “mistakes” during their 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday.
In the first half of the encounter at Old Trafford, Anthony Martial gave United the lead.
After the interval, the visitors pulled parity through Andros Townsend, who finished off a superb counterattack.
In the second half, United failed to produce clear-cut opportunities, and Fernandes has explained why.
“I think it’s really difficult for us,” he told MUTV. “I think we played really well in the first half and created a lot of chances.
“We slowed it down again in the second half, and we made that mistake again.
We must learn, and the moment has come because we can no longer do this.
“We’ve done it so many times that we can’t slow the game down while we’re winning.” We need to make it faster, score one or two goals again, then slow it down and make them run a little faster.”
