BREAKING: Unknown assailants set ablaze Joe Igbokwe’s country home in Anambra (VIDEO)

Unknown assailants have set fire to the country home of Joe Igbokwe, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

On Sunday afternoon, Igbokwe’s house in Nnewi, Anambra State, was raised down.

The operation was allegedly taken out by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, according to APC Stewart, who is headquartered in Lagos State.

“Around this time, the IPOB broke into my residence in Nnewi. They must have lifted the roof of my house to deliver the jerrycans of gasoline I witnessed being unloaded from their Sienna vehicle through CCTV.

“All praise and honour belongs to God. I’m still here. My greatest regret is my study,” Igbokwe said on his well-known Facebook page.

The APC leader is one of the few notable Igbo leaders who has spoken out against the separatist group’s activities.

Joe Igbokwe recently accused the IPOB of assassinating Chike Akunyili, the spouse of Dora Akunyili, the late NAFDAC Director General.
